At dawn, just as the sky was beginning to brighten, a gentle breeze brought with it the lingering chill of a summer night.

The two people in bed were still sound asleep, though they would soon wake up. They had recently made a habit of morning exercise.

Isobel suddenly opened her eyes and sat bolt upright in bed. The thin blanket slid from her smooth, pale skin, but she paid it no mind. She merely pressed a hand to her forehead and gasped for breath, as though she had just had a nightmare.

"What's wrong?"

Albert was roused by the movement beside him. He opened his eyes groggily, looked at Isobel, who seemed to have had a nightmare, and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, letting her lean against him.

"I just had a nightmare."

Isobel opened her eyes again, steadied her breathing, and said, "I dreamed something happened to Mum. Those Death Eaters couldn't find us, so they..."

With a flick of his hand, Albert summoned the Metal Book from beside the bedside table and caught it in his palm. He opened it before Isobel and pointed at Mrs. McDougal's ink dot. "Don't worry, darling. Mrs. McDougal is safe right now."

"I know it was only a nightmare, but a wizard's dreams can sometimes be warnings." Isobel had studied Divination. Though she could not foresee the future as Albert could, she knew well enough what certain things signified.

"We have the Time-Turner, so don't worry." Albert soothed her softly. "If you're still concerned, why not invite her to stay here for a while?"

"Mum probably won't be willing to abandon her work." Isobel rested her head against Albert's shoulder and sighed softly. She actually agreed with his suggestion. It was not safe for Mrs. McDougal to remain outside alone.
