Just in Case. In an uninhabited stretch of sea off Southern France, a Wind Sailboat with its floating platforms deployed drifted quietly on the surface.
In a seat in the deck's lounge area, a young man in swim trunks stared intently at the crystal ball wreathed in white mist on the table, as though trying to discern something within it.
A moment later, the young man seemed to have actually seen something. He let out a soft sigh and murmured, "So it really happened after all?"
"What is it, dear?"
A gentle voice sounded from behind him. The cabin door was pushed open, and Isobel emerged in a swimsuit, followed by a bowl of chilled watermelon floating behind her.
She handed the bowl of watermelon to Albert and asked curiously, "What did you predict this time?"
"Something bad happened." Albert casually picked up a slice of watermelon, took a bite, and turned his gaze toward Isobel in her swimsuit.
"Something bad?"
Isobel looked at the crystal ball but could not see anything in it. She then shifted her gaze back to Albert. "What exactly happened?"
"See for yourself!"
Albert raised his hand and touched the crystal ball. The white mist inside began to churn, revealing a charred hand. It showed Dumbledore examining his own blackened palm.
"This... Dumbledore seems to be in very bad shape?"
Isobel stared at Dumbledore's hand and frowned slightly. Though she knew little about Dark Magic, that charred hand clearly looked lifeless, completely necrotic.
"He was probably struck by some vicious curse." Albert sounded helpless. "Dumbledore will probably... die soon. I warned him more than once."
He had done everything he could, but it had not helped much. As for watching Dumbledore every moment and directly helping him avoid danger?
That would undoubtedly be rather laughable.
