Late at night, on a silent street, a figure cloaked in black stood before an old house and raised a hand to knock on the wooden door.

"Who is it?"

About thirty seconds later, there was finally movement behind the door, followed by a tense voice.

"It's me!"

"Mention what?"

"Who might have attacked Malfoy Manor." Snape shifted his gaze to the confused Narcissa and raised an eyebrow. "It seems she didn't have time to tell you."

"Who attacked Malfoy Manor?" Draco seized Snape by the arm and demanded loudly.

"Although there's no proof, there's a very high chance Albert Anderson set the fire," Snape said calmly.

"That damned Mudblood," Draco said through gritted teeth.
