As they discussed in low voices, Lupin, who had been standing by the window using binoculars to watch the street outside, suddenly shrieked a warning to his companions. "The target has appeared, but... I don't see anyone following him."

After saying that, Lupin handed the binoculars to Arthur and swiftly turned to look at the large Peeping Mirror on the table.

The Dark Magic Detector had not reacted at all.

In fact, Sirius had lowered his head to look at the Detection Pocket Watch in his hand at almost the same time. It had not reacted either. Only the furtive figure in the revealing mirror by the wall seemed to have shown some response.

Sirius and Lupin quickly exchanged glances.

Had the Death Eaters never sent anyone after them at all? Or had there never been any so-called follower from the very beginning? Had they imagined the whole thing?

"How likely is it that Kenneth has been controlled by the Imperius Curse?"

Sirius walked to the window, took the binoculars from Arthur, and watched Kenneth carry a suitcase toward "Albert's" residence.

"Impossible. The Ministry of Magic has kept him under watch the whole time, and this one isn't even the same person who delivered goods to Zonko last time." Watching Kenneth's retreating back, Arthur explained to the other two, "To prevent any accidents, Kenneth is actually Kingsley in disguise. He also took Felix Felicis, enough to deal with any unexpected incident over the next half hour."

"I think that Muggle over there is suspicious."

Noticing Kingsley's movements, Sirius shifted the binoculars toward the middle-aged man who had just gotten out of a car. Frowning slightly, he said, "Do you think he could be the follower?"

"If a Death Eater were disguised as a Muggle, he should still have been detected."
