Alecto, standing by the window and watching Bellatrix leave, withdrew her gaze and turned to her colleague, whose face showed little expression. Yaxley had successfully taken Lucius's former position and temporarily become the planner of their operations, though she felt he was just as unreliable as Lucius.

"I thought you hated him. Amycus is still locked up in Azkaban, and he even paid to get himself thrown in there," Yaxley mocked.

He had to admit that Alecto was right, but they were Death Eaters. Doing whatever it took to achieve their goals was perfectly normal.

If someone truly wanted to kill a person, only an idiot would go and duel them. Nor did they have to use the Avada Kedavra Curse. Killing him by other means was the correct, intelligent approach.
