"Yeah, it was brilliant. Harry did well." Albert smiled with feeling. "It's been a long time since I last saw the Gryffindor Team win a match so thoroughly."

"I remember you were pretty good at Quidditch too."

"People only have so much energy. You have to make choices." Albert steered the conversation back. "How did things go over there?"

"We've already found the general location from your prediction." Dumbledore withdrew his gaze from the window. "However, they didn't find Cassandra Vablatsky or her family's bodies. Could you divine again, so we won't have to search everywhere once we get there?"

"Sure. I reckon they were turned into Inferi or stone." Albert took out his crystal ball and continued divining the whereabouts of the bodies.

"Do you think they didn't want anyone to know about this?" Dumbledore asked, looking at Albert as he divined. "Or did they simply dispose of the bodies carelessly?"

"I hope it's the latter." Albert looked up at Dumbledore. "Do you think he doesn't want anyone to know?"

"I don't know." Dumbledore shook his head. "Cassandra must have anticipated that Voldemort would come looking for her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have had herself hospitalized. Unfortunately, she still underestimated Voldemort in the end."

"If she'd left Britain from the start or found somewhere to hide, she wouldn't have suffered such misfortune." Albert focused all his attention on the crystal ball before him. "That's why I never underestimate Lord Voldemort, much less joke around with my own life."

"Voldemort is certainly no decent person, but many still cling to wishful thinking." Dumbledore could actually understand ordinary people's thoughts. They only wanted to live their lives properly.
