"Mother has always wanted to stop us."

Ron lowered his voice as he looked at the door closing again. "Everyone has been trying to figure out what exactly we're doing."

"But Dumbledore isn't..."

Hermione had barely started when Harry cut her off.

"There's nothing strange about that. Curiosity is human nature, and Dumbledore is gone now. It's perfectly normal for them not to trust me. After all, I'm not Albert, and I don't have Albert's abilities. No one would be stupid enough to pin all their hopes on me."

Harry understood that better than anyone.

He took a notebook from his pocket, tore out several pages of notes, then raised his wand and set them alight, watching them turn to ash in the flames.

"Of course I know that Mrs. Weasley is just too worried about everyone's safety." Harry sighed softly and said helplessly, "But she doesn't know that sometimes, unintentional kindness can cause terrifying harm."

The room fell silent at once.

They all understood how important it was to keep the secret of the Horcruxes strictly guarded.

If Voldemort learned that his greatest secret had been exposed, who knew what terrible things would happen?

"I think you all understand how foolish they're being. That man will kill everyone who knows the secret, unless it has become impossible to keep it hidden."

Harry knew Voldemort's methods all too well. That man would never allow anyone to know about the Horcruxes.

"So that secret must not get out, no matter what. Not only to destroy him, but for everyone else's safety as well."

He was actually reminding Ron—and also the people outside the room
