Bang! Bang! Bang! Urgent knocking sounded outside the office.
"What is it?"
Parkinson opened the door and, upon seeing who had arrived, stepped aside to let Crabbe into the office.
"Professor, Michael Corner has disappeared."
Crabbe paused slightly when he noticed Professor Carro in the office.
"Disappeared?" Parkinson's voice was soft, giving no hint of his mood.
"Yes, disappeared," Crabbe reported. "Filch discovered it during a routine inspection of the dungeons."
"I understand. You did well. I'll deal with it." Parkinson gestured for Crabbe to leave, then seemed to recall something and abruptly added, "Oh, right. Since Mr. Corner has disappeared, the original gathering will probably have to be cancelled. Please let the others know."
Crabbe left unhappily. The Dark Magic gatherings were one of his few pleasures.
Once the door to the Dark Magic office had closed again, Parkinson turned to look at Alecto Carro, who was wiping her wand with a handkerchief.
"It was probably someone from Dumbledore's Army who rescued that boy from the dungeons." Alecto set the handkerchief alight with her wand.
"According to the latest information I received, Longbottom was the real organizer of Dumbledore's Army, and he has already been secretly sent out of Hogwarts," Parkinson suddenly said.
"Where did you get this latest information?" Alecto asked, staring at her colleague.
"Snape provided it." Parkinson's words were surprising. "That man infiltrated the Order of the Phoenix for more than a decade. Their line hasn't been completely cut off yet, so he can still occasionally obtain intelligence. That Dumbledore's Army was created by people from the Order of the Phoenix. They need fresh blood as well."
"Our Headmaster seems to think it's just childish fooling around. He believes we can handle the problem and that he doesn't need to act himself." There was a trace
