Things often developed in unexpected ways.

On the very night the Auror squad sent to reinforce Britain suffered devastating losses, the International Wizarding Federation's High bounty on Voldemort swiftly spread across the world with the cooperation of various countries. In particular, that enormous bounty notice left countless people dumbfounded.

However, the news left both the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters in silence.

"The International Wizarding Federation probably doesn't want to keep interfering in Britain's situation, so they're using a High bounty on Voldemort to make their position and attitude clear."

Kingsley's political instincts were far sharper than those of most Order members. Upon hearing the news, he guessed the International Wizarding Federation's true intentions.

"Looks like they got scared out of their wits!" Sirius said with a disdainful curl of his lip. "Forget it. We never expected them to succeed from the beginning anyway."

"Not necessarily. There are still plenty of powerful wizards in this world. With such a huge reward, perhaps someone might help us get rid of Lord Voldemort," Fleur comforted them softly.

"The chances are slim. Just look at the High bounties on Harry and Anderson. Those things carry more symbolic meaning than practical value. I reckon most people will just treat it as a joke." Bill clearly did not think much of the bounty, nor did he hold any expectations for the International Wizarding Federation.

"No wonder Anderson treated them as cannon fodder," Ron muttered.

"You can't just say things that undermine unity," Hermione warned, glaring at Ron.

"At first, some people will probably be unable to resist the temptation, but they'll only be going to their deaths. Once a batch of capable wizards dies, I reckon no one will keep trying to target Lord Voldemort."

Moody knew quite a bit about bounties.
