Once the time agreed upon by both sides had arrived, Albert made his way to Hogwarts on schedule and found Hermione beneath the monument, holding a pocket watch.

"I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." Albert raised a hand with a smile to greet Hermione.

"I only got here a little while ago."

Hermione tucked the pocket watch back into her Undetectable Extension Charm bag and gave Albert a gentle smile. "I'll be relying on you from here on."

"I promised you."

Albert looked at the lively young woman before him and spared no praise. "That outfit suits you very well."

"Thank you." Hermione smiled and spun around. "I thought that if I was going abroad, I should dress more normally."

"Most wizards do have dreadful taste." Albert ended the small talk for the moment and asked, "Did you bring that thing?"

"What thing?" Hermione froze for a moment, seeming to realize only then what Albert meant. She reached into her Undetectable Extension Charm bag and rummaged around, then soon let her hand fall helplessly.

"I think... I lost it." Hermione seemed a little flustered.

Albert looked at Hermione for a while and sighed inwardly. "If you lost the thing used for tracking, then finding your family will take some effort."

"I'm sorry. It's all my fault for losing it, when I clearly..."

Hermione lowered her head, not daring to meet Albert's eyes.

"It's all right. You didn't do it on purpose. Let's head to Australia first." Albert comforted her softly. "I'll find them by other means once we get there."

"How are we getting to Australia?" Seeing that Albert seemed confident he could find her family again, Hermione could not help but breathe a sigh of relief. "Are we using a Portkey or the International Floo Network?"
