"What have you been busy with lately?"

Looking at the documents piled on the dining table, Ginny emerged from the kitchen carrying a large plate of pies. Her gaze unconsciously swept over the stack of Muggle books as she curiously asked Hermione, who was intently reading through the documents.

"Albert wants to bring electricity to the village."

"Electricity? You mean those batteries Dad keeps in his storeroom?"

The word electricity was certainly not unfamiliar to Ginny.

"Not quite. Batteries can only be considered small energy-storage devices." Hermione carefully considered her wording before explaining, "Electricity is actually a form of energy. In the Muggle world, electrical power is as miraculous as magic is to wizards. It can accomplish all kinds of incredible things and bring us many conveniences. Once we have electricity, at the very least, we won't need oil lamps and candles for lighting anymore."

"I still don't really understand, but Dad would probably love this topic."

Ginny had not taken Muggle Studies as an elective in her third year, so she did not know much about such things.

Then again, she did not really care. Most wizards had no interest in learning about Muggles, let alone the strange inventions Muggles made without using magic.

"Want a pie?"

As Ginny spoke, she held the plate piled with pies out to Hermione and introduced them to her close friend. "It's a new flavor. You'll definitely get an unexpected surprise."

"Alright, thanks."

Hermione set down the documents on Photovoltaic Power Generation and Wind Power Generation, took a pie from the large plate Ginny offered her, and bit into it. She was rather surprised to find it filled with a sweet bean paste.
