"I remember you seemed to really dislike the American magical world."
Hermione had heard Albert mention the terrible environment of the American magical world before. It was said that American wizards were extremely wary of Muggles, making it easy for foreign wizards to violate American Ministry of Magic laws and face the trouble of fines and imprisonment.
"Yes. American wizards are terrified of Muggles learning of their existence, like mice are terrified of cats." Albert did not hide his distaste for that country. "Honestly, I saw a possible future for wizards in that country."
"You don't think highly of wizards?"
Hermione was surprised that Albert had suddenly brought up the matter.
"Once Muggle technology reaches a certain level, there will be no place left for magic to survive. Of course, Muggle technology will not advance that quickly. There should still be several centuries left."
Albert truly did not think highly of the future of wizards. Once human technology entered a period of rapid development, it would gradually come to suppress wizards.
"You saw the future of the Ministry of Magic through a prophecy?" Hermione asked tentatively.
"A seer does not necessarily need prophecy to see the future," Albert said calmly. "Some swindlers in the Muggle World are very skilled at deducing many things from clues."
"Then what do you think we should do?"
"Trust in the wisdom of future generations," Albert said without hesitation.
"That doesn't sound like something you'd say." Hermione raised an eyebrow slightly.
"What I mean is, throw the problems we can't solve now to our descendants and let them solve them themselves," Albert said casually. "By then, we'll all be nothing but a pile of bones anyway, so there'll be no need to worry about it."
