"Should be about the same, right?"
"Very different. Having vampire blood doesn't mean you're a vampire, and unlike vampires, we don't need to feed on blood." Yanila shot Valeria, who was deliberately teasing her, an annoyed glare, then turned to Louise. "Those of you with Veela blood should understand that well, shouldn't you, Louise?"
Louise knew the other woman was merely looking for something to chat about, but after noticing the girls' gazes on her, she still said, "That's true, but inheriting part of a bloodline usually means inheriting some of its traits too. Yanila's tone was full of disbelief. In her eyes, how could someone as outstanding as Louise become Albert's lover simply for love?
It was simply unbelievable!
"Yes, I like Albert very much." Louise did not deny it. "We've known each other for several years."
"Although not being able to become his wife is indeed depressing, I believe we can still be together in the future."
"Do you think the McDougal sisters would agree?" Valeria reminded her. "They won't want someone coming into their home to share their man."
"I can move to Britain and settle there." Louise paused, then said calmly, "Albert is a rather emotional person."
"Albert is indeed a rather emotional person, but..." Catherine paused and said meaningfully, "Why do you think Isobel let her own sister become Albert's lover? Don't forget that the sisters live with Albert.
