Ron had never felt as anxious as he did now. After pacing several laps around his bedroom, he reopened the drawer by his desk, took out a somewhat crumpled letter, and read it again. Then he went to the mirror to straighten his appearance before pushing open the door and heading downstairs on the creaking wooden stairs.
Ron did not stay for breakfast. After greeting his mother, he hurried out.
"Does Ron have something to do today?"
Mrs. Weasley poked her head out of the kitchen when she heard the sound.
"Probably."
Harry glanced at Ron's departing back, then lowered his head and continued eating breakfast.
He actually knew why. Ron was going to see Hermione, but Harry had no intention of exposing it. Letting Hermione and Ron meet was not necessarily a bad thing.
Some matters still needed to be discussed face-to-face.
"He's certainly busy. You rarely get a day off." Mrs. Weasley went back to her work.
"Ginny and I are going to Avalon later. Please look after Little James for us."
Harry felt a little embarrassed mentioning it. He had originally intended to have Ginny stay behind to look after James, but Ginny seemed to feel that she ought to go help once she had recovered. Recently, she had been leaving James in Mrs. Weasley's care.
When babies had just been born, they spent most of their time sleeping and did not cause Mrs. Weasley much trouble. Ginny only needed to come back when it was time to feed him.
"Is it busy over there?"
Mrs. Weasley raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. Everyone wants to get the village built as quickly as possible, so we don't end up like Hogsmeade..." After finishing the food on his plate, Harry prepared to head straight to Avalon.
