The next morning, Percy received a letter delivered by the House-elf Kara. The moment he arrived at work, he hurriedly knocked on the door to the Minister of Magic's office, intending to share the good news with Kingsley, who was inside reviewing documents.

Once Kingsley set down his quill and looked up toward the door, Percy stepped forward and placed the envelope from his robe pocket on the desk before him.

"Albert and his family left overnight yesterday. Clearly, they didn't want to get dragged into the trouble ahead. Before leaving, he had a House-elf deliver this letter for you!"

Kingsley immediately opened the letter. After glancing at the contents on the parchment, his eyes widened, and he clutched the paper in his hand as he murmured, "Just like something he'd do."

Percy was actually quite curious about what the letter said to provoke such a reaction from Kingsley, but he also knew some things were not his place to ask about.

"Have the news spread. I imagine those goblins can't wait any longer!"

After burning the letter once he had finished reading it, Kingsley looked up and said to Percy, "Also, tell Director Gadwin to come to a meeting. I think the time we've been waiting for has arrived."
