"Dead!"
Seeing the word "Goodbye" appear on the Communication Bookmark, Albert, who was rummaging through the spoils, fell briefly silent. After replying "Goodbye" to Nelson, he tossed aside the Communication Bookmark in his hand and turned back to the old books piled on the shelves. With a light flick of his wand, he sent them neatly into the open trunk.
Once all the books had been packed away, Albert moved his wand toward the other valuables. Ancient, wealthy wizarding families never lacked expensive possessions, and with a wave of Albert's wand, all of them flew into the open trunk as though they had grown wings.
Though Albert truly had no shortage of Galleons, allowing these things to be destroyed by Fiendfyre still seemed an outrageous waste to him.
Waste was shameful.
Besides, they were all Albert's spoils from tonight.

It could not be denied that Albert was looking for excuses for his plundering, but sometimes, being able to convince one's own conscience was enough. Besides, Albert did not think he was robbing anyone. He was merely redistributing the wealth stolen by robbers and putting it to better use.
Not to mention that no one even knew about it. Even if it came to light later, Nelson could take the blame.
Albert felt no guilt over it whatsoever. In the end, this was only a transaction, one that had satisfied everyone. Nelson had clearly fulfilled his revenge as he had wished, or how else could he have had the spare time to bid Albert one last farewell? "Since things are over there, things here should be over too!"
Albert turned to look at Mr. and Mrs. Parkinson, who were restrained by Charms. Under their terrified gazes, he raised his wand and erased their recent memories, then put them back
