"Have you ever been to Durmstrang?"

In the Thestral Carriage flying north, Daphne curiously leaned toward the window, watching the scenery flash past outside as she asked Alice, who was reading beside her.

"No."

Alice closed her copy of Introduction to Swedish and recalled, "But when my family traveled to the Scandinavian Peninsula, I asked about it. He said Durmstrang didn't welcome outside visitors."

"Hogwarts doesn't allow outsiders to enter freely either, does it?" Daphne could not quite understand where Alice's dislike came from.

"No, it's different. Durmstrang is a very unfriendly school." Alice paused, then said with considerable distaste, "That was also one of the main reasons I didn't want to take part in the Triwizard Tournament."

"Ahem."

Headmistress McGonagall gave a light cough, trying to interrupt Alice's unfriendly remarks.

Honestly, she had never expected to hear such an assessment from Alice.

"Durmstrang is also quite friendly toward other guests..."

Perhaps feeling that her words lacked some persuasiveness, Headmistress McGonagall fell silent for a moment before she could not help asking, "Did Albert really say that? As I recall, he has never been to Durmstrang, has he?"

"I don't know, but he rarely judges a place so bluntly." Alice glanced at Headmistress McGonagall across from her and voiced her speculation. "I think it was probably related to the traditions there."

"What tradition?" Daphne asked curiously.

"It is said that visitors to that school must have their memories erased with a Memory Charm after they leave, so they forget how they got there." Alice made no attempt to hide what she thought of that.

"Are they really that afraid of people finding out where the school is?" Daphne suddenly understood why Alice had not wanted to participate in the Triwizard Tournament.

That was definitely one of the main reasons.
