"Sixth floor, Classroom 21?"
Holding the parchment Professor McGonagall had sent him, Albert wandered around the corridors on the sixth floor of the castle, searching for the Classroom 21 used by the Transfiguration Club.
By now, he had practically gone through every corridor on Hogwarts's sixth floor, yet he still had not found Classroom 21.
No, it would be more accurate to say that Classroom 21 simply did not exist. Albert had even asked the portraits on the sixth floor, but none of them had heard of such a classroom.
Had he been tricked?
That seemed unlikely.
Professor McGonagall would not do something so pointless. That left only one possibility: the final line on the parchment—remember Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration.
Classroom 21 was hidden somewhere on the sixth floor, and remembering Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration was the key to finding the entrance.
But after making another round, Albert still could not find any painting, stone sculpture, or tapestry related to Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration.
If he had to force a connection, it would be the portrait in front of him.
Wizards could not conjure delicious food out of thin air... yet the wizard in the painting had done exactly that...
Albert moved the portrait aside, but there was still no secret passage behind it.
Now, he could only wait—for Professor McGonagall to send someone to bring him inside, or... give up on joining the Transfiguration Club. He thought the former was more likely.
"You must be the new member Professor McGonagall mentioned?" Several minutes later, a red-haired girl walked over and looked Albert up and down before saying exactly what he had expected. "Professor McGonagall thought you might get lost, so she asked me to come get you!"
