"Nia isn't old enough yet," Herb comforted her softly. "Before your twelfth birthday, Hogwarts will send an owl with your acceptance letter, and then you can attend a magical school."

"Do I look like an idiot?" Nia pouted indignantly. "I know I don't have magical talent. Albert actually knew long ago."

"How could that be?" Herb asked quietly.

"How couldn't it be?" Nia began talking about what had happened during the summer vacation.

The Ministry of Magic had stated the reason for Truman's expulsion in his letter: using the Levitation Charm in a Muggle neighborhood, in front of a Muggle.

"At the time, there were only three of us in the park. Truman was a wizard, Albert was a wizard too, so the Muggle mentioned in the letter could only have been me." As soon as she finished speaking, Nia began crying sadly.

Daisy sighed softly. She had actually known about this. Before Albert left for Hogwarts, he had mentioned the possibility to her.

She just hadn't expected Nia to figure it out herself.

Daisy pulled her daughter into her arms, gently stroking her back as she comforted her softly. "All right, Nia. If you want to cry, then cry."

"Nia, you should know that wizards have their own joys, but Muggles have joys that belong to them too. The magical world doesn't have television, or the cartoons and movies you like. Before going to school, you wouldn't even have many friends." Luke spoke calmly. "It's actually quite nice not living in the magical world. At least, that's what Grandpa thinks."

"But..." Nia's voice caught in her throat. "But I want to go to Hogwarts."

Tom seemed to sense that Nia was upset as well. He jumped into her arms and rubbed his head against her clothes.
