There were quite a few dangerous plants in the Magical Garden that could cause contestants considerable trouble and even threaten their lives.
Albert suddenly understood why that headmaster had refused to let fourteen-year-old Zygmunt Budge participate in the Magical School Potions Tournament.
However, that had happened centuries ago. Albert had no idea what the circumstances had truly been back then, so he had no intention of passing judgment on Zygmunt Budge's affairs.
Albert cared more about whether "Zygmunt Budge's Last Wish" could be completed successfully, and how much benefit it would bring him afterward.
Albert Anderson was a practical man.
To ensure nothing unexpected happened during the task, Albert stayed in his room during the afternoon break and used Divination to predict the first round of tomorrow's competition. What he saw in the crystal ball was fairly satisfactory.
Before going to bed that night, Albert drank some Dreamless Sleep Potion to ensure he got a good night's rest.
In fact, the Magical School Potions Tournament officials had also prepared similar potions for the contestants, so no one would lose sleep from excessive nerves and could compete in their best condition the next day. They were remarkably considerate.
