The Fountain of Fair Fortune

"This is my latest improved health drink. It tastes pretty good, though the color is a bit ugly."

Mrs. Serena took a glass of bubbling green drink from beneath the bar, gently set it in front of Albert, and gestured for him to try it.

"I'll pass."

"What a pity. It only looks a little hard to stomach. It actually tastes quite good." Mrs. Serena picked up the green health drink and gulped it all down.

"I heard there's a library in the village. Do you know where it is?" Albert asked directly. He could probably have found it by wandering around, but he chose the more efficient approach.

"Where did you hear that?" Mrs. Serena took another glass of green drink from beneath the bar and smiled at Albert, her meaning obvious.

The corner of Albert's mouth twitched imperceptibly. He had heard Professor Slughorn mention that Mrs. Serena had the peculiar hobby of watching others drink her specially made health drinks.

"Mr. Damocles told me," Albert said honestly. "He said I might be interested in the books here."

"You know Mr. Damocles?" Mrs. Serena was somewhat surprised, though she had already seen Albert display astonishing talent for Potions during the first round.

"Mr. Damocles and I have kept in touch by letter."

"Mm, there is indeed a library in the village. It's the third building to the right of the pub next door, and it's generally only open to the public from eight to nine in the evening." Mrs. Serena kindly reminded him, "However, outsiders can only borrow some books and magazines there."

"Outsiders?"
