At that moment, in some dark forest in Albania, Peter was darting swiftly through the trees, trying to find a lone unicorn.
However, Peter's Care of Magical Creatures grades had been average back then. He had no idea how to find unicorns in a forest. Fortunately, though, Peter could learn the unicorns' approximate whereabouts through his filthy little friends.
But merely finding a unicorn was not enough. Obtaining unicorn blood would not be easy. Unicorns themselves were magical creatures with extremely powerful Magical Power. Not only were they swift on their feet, but ordinary spells could hardly harm them. Perhaps they were not as resistant to magic as dragons, but they certainly could not be underestimated. And Peter was sure that he could never match a unicorn's speed.
Yet obtaining unicorn blood was the Dark Lord's first task for Peter. Peter knew perfectly well that he had to grit his teeth and complete it no matter what, unless he wanted to leave outright. If he really did that, there would no longer be a place for him at the Dark Lord's side, and he would end up on the Dark Lord's kill list.
