Harry, Hermione, and Ron committed themselves to the fight while pursuing Dumbledore’s mission, and Albert prepared to move his family to France after suspecting Mrs. Dale had been compromised.

• Albert helped Hermione get her parents out of Britain after Voldemort used them as bait, and Kingsley arranged their departure for Australia.
• Harry learned that Dumbledore needed Slughorn’s memory to discover how many Horcruxes Voldemort had made, and Harry, Hermione, and Ron agreed to join the fight despite the danger.
• Albert told the Defence Association that Dumbledore and Scrimgeour would die, trained the members in concealment and escape, and warned them to keep his predictions secret.

Harry and Dumbledore identified the remaining Horcruxes as Death Eaters prepared an attack on Hogwarts to kill Dumbledore. Dumbledore died by Snape’s hand, most of the attackers were defeated or captured, and Voldemort began planning his next move against Azkaban and the Ministry.

• Harry learned that only two suspected Horcruxes remained, while Dumbledore explained that Voldemort could no longer sense his Horcruxes.
• Draco worked to repair the Vanishing Cabinet as Narcissa and Bellatrix sought Felix Felicis, and Albert warned Dumbledore that the Death Eaters had obtained the potion.
• Narcissa infiltrated Hogwarts to steal Felix Felicis, but Avery stole the bottle from her and fed her to the Dementors.
• Harry obtained Slughorn’s memory, and Dumbledore confirmed that Voldemort had planned to make seven Horcruxes before a Dark Mark appeared over the Astronomy Tower.
• Draco summoned the Death Eaters into Hogwarts, but Dumbledore, Snape, and Malfoy led them into a trap as the Order and professors fought the attackers.
• Snape killed Dumbledore and escaped with Draco, while Albert ambushed the fleeing Death Eaters and captured Bellatrix and others.

As Voldemort’s influence spread, Albert prepared his family and allies while Harry and his friends began planning how to find the Horcruxes. The arc ended with Bill and Fleur’s wedding underway and Albert warning that danger was approaching.

• Scrimgeour announced Dumbledore’s death and Snape’s betrayal, while Albert recovered the real Elder Wand and learned that the final Horcrux was in the Lestrange vault.
• Albert explained Dumbledore’s plan to Harry, Ron, and Hermione, warned the Order and the Defence Association about Voldemort’s growing power, and prepared to leave Britain.

• Voldemort killed Scrimgeour after the guests began escaping, and Albert organized efforts to find and rescue the Weasley Couple.
• Albert, Moody, Sirius, and Kingsley intercepted the ship carrying prisoners to Azkaban, and Albert held Voldemort back while the others escaped with them.
• As the Ministry began arresting Muggle-born wizards, Albert advised Professor McGonagall to create a voluntary Fidelius-protected refuge for expelled students.
• Snape told Professor McGonagall that Hogwarts would expel its Muggle-born students, while Dumbledore arranged for him to deliver a replica of the Sword of Gryffindor to Voldemort.
• Albert and Professor McGonagall organized a shelter at the Defence Association headquarters, and Lee Jordan exposed the Ministry’s concealed expulsions on his broadcast.
