Once they entered the temple grounds, they saw many small pagodas surrounding the Great Golden Pagoda. These pagodas were all different, each with its own distinctive features, and their colors varied as well. Some were reliquary pagodas, while others had Buddhist halls beneath them, enshrining numerous Buddha statues, much like Chinese temples.

The Buddhist statues inside were also all different. Some were seated, some reclining, and some looking down from above. They had different appearances, postures, and expressions.

There were various bodhisattvas beside the golden pagoda. Zhang Yanbin even explained that everyone could find the one corresponding to their birthday and worship it.

The Great Golden Pagoda was a sacred place in the hearts of the Burmese, so many people came to bow and worship there every day. When Chu Chen and the others entered, many people were already kneeling around the grounds, facing the Great Golden Pagoda in prayer. Moreover, the people here did not burn incense when they worshiped. Instead, they chanted scriptures or counted their prayer beads.

After touring the Great Golden Pagoda once, everyone felt exceptionally tranquil when they left through the exit. Even Fatty Dong, who had been complaining about the heat all along, felt that it seemed much cooler than before.

Shopping was certainly an indispensable part of traveling. Naturally, there were plenty of peddlers outside the Great Golden Pagoda, a major tourist destination, and many vendors had set up stalls on the surrounding ground.
