Say it, do it. A moment later, the results showed that the bid boxes really could be seen through with his special ability. In fact, Chu Chen had expected this result. After all, his ability could see through those counterfeits; there was no reason it should not work on bid boxes, which were likewise inanimate objects.

He could see through inanimate objects, but not living beings. Chu Chen had verified this before, driven by curiosity.

This result left Chu Chen extremely excited. Now, he could wait until the very end to "look" at the bid slips inside. If his bid was not the highest, he could still submit an additional bid. Unless his luck was truly terrible, he believed this would basically make him unbeatable.
