Let's talk about the issue of character development in novels.
The first thing a long novel must establish is its characters.
What does it mean to establish a character? Simply put, if you can still remember a character after finishing the book, then that character has been established.
As for a classic character, that is someone you can still remember years after finishing the novel. That is what makes a classic character.
If readers finish a long novel without remembering a single character's name, or remember only one or two, then the book has failed.
Creating a novel character is simple, but making that character stand firm is harder than reaching the heavens! As for this book of ours, I think there are characters who can be said to have been established. Aside from the male and female leads, that is. There aren't many if we list them out.

As for Head Sect Leader Zheng Yuandong and Vice Head Sect Leader Bai Jing, they can currently only count as half-established. I hope to flesh them out later.
As for the others, such as Chen Gu, they basically haven't been established at all.
But back then, I truly spent quite a lot of writing on the Ten Great Sect Leaders.
Among the experts, only two and a half have currently been established: Duan Xiyang and Sun Wutian. The half is Bing Tianxue, but Bing Tianxue can only count as half-established if I can write the subsequent parts according to my expectations.
Yet there are quite
