"There's a shop too?"
The group exchanged looks, then finally turned to Luo Jun. "What could they be selling in there?"
Luo Jun shrugged. "I don't know either. After all, I didn't design this mission... We'll know once we go inside, won't we?" Miyamoto Haru looked wary. "What if it's a trap?"
"It won't be." Luo Jun explained, "We've had no way back since the mission began. The mission wouldn't set up a dead end with no choice involved. If it really were a trap, there should at least be other paths to choose from outside the shop."
To put everyone's concerns to rest, Luo Jun stepped forward first and pushed open the shop's great door.
The shop had a somewhat medieval Western style. Behind the wooden counter stood a plump owner with a small mustache. The shelves behind him were stocked with all sorts of items. Some were weapons like swords, daggers, and the like; others were defensive equipment like helmets and shields. Most, however, were utility items such as ropes, potion bottles, gemstones, and medicinal herbs.
"Welcome!" The owner rubbed his hands together with a grin. "My shop has everything you could possibly need. Feel free to look around."
Everything you could possibly need... The others looked around. There certainly were plenty of items in the shop, but they had no idea what any of them were for, much less how to buy them...
"I'd like to buy something too, but I don't have any money on me..." Luo Jun, who had some experience with this, walked up to the counter.
