It depicted a church-like building surrounded by various defensive fortifications, including gun turrets, ballistae, electric nets, and more. A row of statues stood before the church doors. They did not look human, with demonic faces, sharp teeth, and wings on their backs, somewhat resembling Gargoyles from Western legends.

In the lower-right corner of the image were the words "Defense Level Three."

"Is this really a church? Why does it look more like a vampire's palace..." No sooner had Luo Jun voiced his complaint than the surrounding space began to twist. Moments later, he was standing before the church in the picture.

Although the surroundings were pitch-black, the church itself gave off a hazy glow that illuminated the nearby area.

Was the enemy hiding in this church too?

According to the Treasure Tool's function, the owner of the Creation Chessboard enjoyed special privileges within the pocket realm. They could draw three cards each time and choose the one they wanted most... If the enemy had selected this church from among three cards, then Defense Level Three ought to count as fairly high.

While he was considering this, the surroundings had already fallen into complete darkness. This darkness seemed to carry some sort of rule. Even with Luo Jun's senses, he could not see through it, and his visibility was less than ten meters. Yet his ears could hear faint rustling from deep within the darkness.

Luo Jun narrowed his eyes slightly. Were these the monsters of the night?

Figures soon emerged from the darkness. They were a group of lizard-like monsters that moved on all fours and measured seven or eight meters long. But compared to lizards, their limbs were longer and leaner,
