After testing it, he found that the Kai Ren Qi only had a small nick in it, which could be handled with ordinary repairs. The Hanging Hook, however, was badly damaged and required repair energy.

After some thought, Luo Jun used Excessive Repair on the Hanging Hook.

One Hundred Breaths Vital Energy went into it, along with twenty-five points of repair energy. In the end, a fully restored Hanging Hook appeared before him.

It looked much the same as before, except the hook itself faintly radiated a Fierce Aura it had not possessed previously.

Luo Jun swept it with Vital Energy to inspect its effects. It still appeared to have the same functions as before: the hook could catch people, and once it struck, it inflicted Status Effect Deepening. Then there was its Murderous Weapon function, Fear Intimidation, as well as the Stability Function that increased the user's stability.

But upon closer examination of the descriptions, he found several additions. For example, the hook now had an automatic Enemy Detection function. If the target dodged after it was thrown, it would continue pursuing them, greatly improving its hit rate. The Stability Function had changed as well. Once the hook hit, it could either increase the user's stability or reduce it. The former naturally made it easier to pull the target before oneself, while the latter allowed the user to fly along the iron chains to the target's location, improving mobility.

The difference was that the descriptions of these two added effects appeared in translucent text, likely because they were temporary effects.
