Luo Jun's thoughts flew back to nearly a year ago, to the temple on the lowest level of the mysterious ruins in the [Wilderness]. There, he had seen several murals. One depicted a battle between the ancient human god and monster god of the [Wilderness].
At the time, Luo Jun hadn't known that the various worlds were actually the divine realms of Ancient True Gods. He had merely taken it for ancient history of the Wilderness, a mythological tale.
But now, there was a major problem with that story.
The [Wilderness] world should have been the divine realm of some ancient god, so how could a single divine realm have produced two great gods, one human and one beast? But if the two figures in the mural were not True Gods, merely later caretakers, then how could the Breath of Myth be explained? Luo Jun had never had it appraised, but the thing's divine rank clearly surpassed Karruth's aura. It had even attracted the giant dragon in [Martial World]. Even if its purity was low, it was undoubtedly a God Relic!
In that case, the human deity in the mural was most likely also a True God, and the beast god opposing him naturally possessed the same rank! Yet when he recalled it, the beast god depicted in that mural, baring its fangs and brandishing its claws, looked exactly like the monster the Goddess of Life had created!
Was it a coincidence? After all, murals were not as realistic as photographs. The monster's image had been rather simplistic, even somewhat cartoonish, depicting only its key traits. Perhaps the goddess had simply happened to create a beast similar to that beast god?
But what if it wasn't?
Would that mean the beast god that had stood against the human god as
