Jiang Ping An began testing the power of the World Eye.
He examined the Heaven Mending Art, the Primordial True Martial Scripture, and the God Burning Blade Art in turn.
After testing it, he found that the World Eye did let him understand some of those higher-level, complex powers.
But the higher the level of the laws he tried to comprehend, the more Mental Power it consumed.
Take the Heaven Mending Art, for example. Using the World Eye to comprehend a Divine Rune containing high-level Rule Power would drain his Mental Power completely.
If he rashly tried to comprehend laws of an even higher level, the Mental Power it consumed could shatter his soul.
That meant he should avoid comprehending exceptionally advanced Divine Dao Laws unless necessary.
He could use the World Eye to aid his cultivation, but he should stick to Divine Dao Laws of his own level whenever possible.
All in all, this was still good news. The World Eye had greatly improved his comprehension.
During cultivation, he could use the Analysis Compass to analyze Divine Runes, then examine the results with the World Eye. That would drastically shorten the time needed to comprehend them.
Once he finished testing the World Eye, Jiang Ping An threw himself into cultivation. He began comprehending second-tier Extreme Sun Divine Dao Laws and practicing the God Burning Blade Art.
He had originally planned to cultivate the third part of the Primordial True Martial Scripture first, since it was the strongest.
But cultivating its third part, the Primordial Divine Rune, required him to sever and rebuild his meridians, which would leave his body weak.
He was being hunted. Weakening his body now would make survival harder.
He would construct the Primordial Divine Rune once he was safe.
