Jiang Ping An did not ask any more questions. He sent Long Ya the address of the Cultivation Room through a God Sound Talisman.
Before long, someone knocked on the Cultivation Room door.
Jiang Ping An opened it, and Long Ya swept in like a gust of wind.
She was as dazzlingly beautiful as ever. A fitted purple robe traced her graceful figure, while flowing Purple Divine Runes adorned her exposed fair legs and smooth arms, lending her a mysterious, faintly rebellious beauty.
"Have your injuries healed?"
Long Ya looked him up and down, her tone casual. "If they have, come with me to Hua Miao Lou. I hear the girls there are so fresh you could squeeze water from them, and the wine they brew is exceptional."
"What's troubling you?"
Jiang Ping An did not take the bait. He merely looked at her calmly.
He could clearly sense the trace of irritation hidden between her brows. Something was weighing on her.
"What could be troubling me? I just want a drink and a look at some beauties. Going alone is no fun, so I came to get you."
Long Ya's gaze flickered. Refusing to answer directly, she stepped forward, grabbed Jiang Ping An's arm, and pulled him toward the door. "Come on, come on. Stop dawdling."
Seeing that she did not want to talk about it, Jiang Ping An asked no further questions and let her lead him out of the Cultivation Room.
Before long, they arrived before an exquisitely decorated building.
It had vermilion doors and a glazed-tile roof. Delicate wind chimes hung from the corners of its eaves, ringing clear and sweet whenever the breeze stirred.
Above the entrance hung a plaque bearing three bold, flowing characters: "Hua Miao Lou." They gave off the aura of a
