The mountain towered into the sky, entirely pitch-black and utterly out of place amid its surroundings.
A terrifying hurricane spun at high speed atop the mountain, forming an enormous vortex that stretched from its summit to the heavens, linking sky and earth.
A sun was trapped at the center of the vortex, swaying slowly with the hurricane. Its scarlet sunlight twisted and scattered mottled patches of light and shadow.
The entire sky flickered between brightness and darkness because of that sun.
It seemed that this terrifying hurricane was what had caused the sandstorms in this world.
Yet there was no storm around the mountain. It seemed to have been isolated by some special power.
