"Who's there?!"

A one-eyed Thunder Eel sensed something and rushed toward the entrance.

As its massive body moved, the seawater throughout the Thirteenth Floor churned violently.

Bang!

The Stone Gate flew open under the Thunder Eel's impact, and its lone eye swept the space beyond it.

The two Thunder Eels behind it stared at it in confusion.

"What are you doing? Stop jumping at shadows."

"Is there something outside?"

The one-eyed Thunder Eel looked around. Seeing no other living creature, it drew back its head, a trace of doubt flickering in its remaining eye.

"Strange. I felt like something was watching me just now, as if another creature was here."

"You've been locked up too long. You're imagining things," the Thunder Eel with half its body missing said from beside the Blood-colored Stone Platform.

The third Thunder Eel, a pink one, spoke in a feminine voice. "Stop jumping at shadows. Get back here and study the Order Laws left on the Blood-colored Stone Platform. Give us another few thousand years, and we might finally escape this damned prison tower!"

The one-eyed Thunder Eel withdrew its gaze, turned, and swung its tail to slam the Stone Gate shut. It returned to the Blood-colored Stone Platform and resumed studying the Order Laws lingering in the blood.

Just as it settled down, an urgent shout came from outside.

"Boss! Boss! We have something important to report!"

Several Thunder Eels swam up from the lower levels of the prison tower, stopped before the gate, and called out.

The Thunder Eel with half its body missing asked impatiently, "What is it?"

"We just found a human who can use Divine Arts inside the prison tower!"

The reporting Thunder Eel wasted no words and told them what it had seen.

"What?!"
