Jiang Ping An swept his Divine Sense across the battlefield and looked at the blood-colored beasts.
These beasts came in all sorts of shapes, their appearances grotesquely deformed. Almost no two looked exactly alike.
Normally, any living creature would have members of its own kind that looked similar.
Take cats, dogs, tigers, and leopards, for instance. Even if their fur differed, one glance would tell you they belonged to the same kind.
But these beasts were different. Some had four or five heads, some had asymmetrical wings, and others had legs growing out of their backs.
Some winged beasts had fish heads.
Others had fish bodies but several spindly legs.
There were virtually no creatures of the same kind that looked alike.
"Screech!"
The strange red-furred bird before him opened its enormous mouth and spat out ice, trying to freeze Jiang Ping An.
Jiang Ping An focused his gaze, channeled his soul power, and looked into the strange bird's eyes, invading its soul.
He wanted to see where these monsters had come from.
He encountered no resistance and easily entered the red-furred bird's consciousness.
