Inside the Law Enforcement Hall.
Jiang Ping An sat at an interrogation table, with over a dozen law enforcers standing before him, their auras radiating outward.
Five of the law enforcers alone were in the Void God Realm.
An immense, oppressive force blanketed the entire Interrogation Room.
Jiang Ping An had a bad feeling. Suppressing his unease, he asked:
"Honored officers, what did you summon me for?"
Yang Shuangsu, the only law enforcer Jiang Ping An recognized, stepped forward and said:
"Not long ago, a cargo ship bound for the Crimson Marrow Crystal Mine was plundered. None of the more than three hundred people aboard survived. After a thorough search, investigators discovered the culprit's blood and hair at the scene."
"By tracing the blood, we found that it matched the blood of a Holy Land disciple bound to a Holy Land Identity Token."
Yang Shuangsu paused, staring straight at Jiang Ping An. "That person is you."
The law enforcers had expected Jiang Ping An to loudly defend himself upon hearing this, or cry out that he had been wronged.
Instead, Jiang Ping An suddenly laughed.
Yes, he laughed.
His smile held a great deal of helplessness and mockery.
"The person framing me is truly stupid. Their methods are far too crude. Anyone with a brain would ask themselves how a High Lord God like me would dare rob the Holy Land's cargo. Would I be tired of living?"
Jiang Ping An had been deeply uneasy, but after hearing the reason, he immediately felt much more relaxed.
A slightly overweight law enforcer whose eyes were mere slits stepped forward. "People will do anything for money."
He grabbed Jiang Ping An's arm, picked up a pair of specially made handcuffs, and forcefully clamped them on.
