Background / History

Lan Shi'er is the daughter of the Azure King and carries both the Lan Clan and Bai Family bloodlines. Regarded as talentless because her bloodline had not awakened, she was sent away to Kunpeng Island and received little affection from her father or the Lan Clan elders. Her mother was murdered, while her father did not act on her behalf. 1354 1453 1462 1516

While travelling with her aunt, Bai Jingqiu, Lan Shi'er finds Jiang Ping An unconscious and badly injured at sea. Despite Bai Jingqiu’s warnings, she insists on saving him, beginning the relationship that shapes much of her later growth. 1348

She appoints Jiang Ping An as her practical-combat sparring partner on Kunpeng Island. His blunt criticism initially drives her to tears, but his insistence that effort can compensate for poor combat talent changes her outlook. She trains relentlessly for two months and defeats Lan QiMing during her Island Lord handover ceremony, establishing her authority before Kunpeng Island’s factions. 1351 1354 1356 1358

Bai Jingqiu uses the Three-Colored Fairy’s Creation Power to reconstruct Lan Shi'er’s talent. Her Bai Family and Lan Clan bloodlines gradually awaken, transforming her from an underestimated Heavenly Immortal into a rapidly advancing genius. 1419 1423 1452

Lan Shi'er later breaks through to the God Realm while attempting to save Jiang Ping An from Ge Yuze. Her complete awakening draws the attention of the Lan Clan, forcing her to return to the Inner Sea despite her reluctance to leave Jiang Ping An behind. 1514 1516 1518

After returning to the Lan Clan Royal Family, she builds influence in Blue Sea Country, serves on the front lines, and begins openly retaliating against factions that seek to restrain her. Jiang Ping An later publicly supports her, helping her attract potential followers despite the hostility of the royal family’s senior factions. 1715 1745 1764

Appearance

Lan Shi'er is a blue-haired cultivator whose appearance matures noticeably as her bloodlines awaken. At eighteen, she is described as graceful and poised, with an aura that already suggests future godhood. 1458

  • Large, watery eyes and a youthful, expressive face in her earlier appearances. 1348 1462

Personality

Lan Shi'er begins as compassionate, playful, and emotionally vulnerable. She risks Bai Jingqiu’s disapproval to save an unknown injured man and is initially deeply affected by criticism or injury in combat. 1348 1354

Jiang Ping An’s guidance makes her more resilient and independent. She gradually rejects the Lan Clan’s standards for her worth, learns to distrust transactional kindness, and refuses to let her family’s earlier neglect define her. 1354 1463 1465

Despite her growth into a decisive and intimidating combatant, she remains affectionate and childlike around people she trusts—especially Jiang Ping An, whom she calls “Uncle” and “Smelly Uncle.” She is fiercely protective of him, repeatedly confronting those who threaten or undermine him. 1494 1510 1926

  • Values freedom and refuses political marriage arrangements she did not choose. 1747
  • Holds lasting resentment toward relatives who ignored her before her bloodline awakened. 1516
