After dinner, there weren't enough rooms at Maternal Grandfather and Maternal Grandmother's home for so many people, so the Zhou Family had to return to the Guest House in town.
Second Aunt-in-Law said to Jiang Xia and Zhou Chenglei, "You two are bringing the children, so don't stay at the Guest House. It won't be convenient. I'll tidy up Qiu Feng's room. I've pushed two beds together, which will be enough for you to sleep with the children for one night. I've washed all the quilts and blankets and dried them in the sun. How could the Guest House's bedding be as clean as what's at home?"
Zhou Chenglei looked at Jiang Xia. Jiang Xia had brought quilts and blankets with her, but staying at home was certainly better than staying at the Guest House.
Jiang Xia didn't refuse Second Aunt-in-Law's kindness. "Then I'll trouble you tonight, Second Aunt-in-Law."
Second Aunt-in-Law was delighted. Pretending to be angry, she said, "Why are you saying that to me?"
Jiang Xia didn't want Zhang Rui to be the only one staying outside with the Zhou Family, so she said to Zhou Chenglei, "I'll stay at Second Uncle's house with the children tonight. You can stay at the Guest House, right? The children won't wake up at night anyway."
Zhou Chenglei was somewhat worried.
Second Aunt-in-Law also said, "Don't worry. If the children wake up, I'll help take care of them. With you gone, Qiu Feng and Xiao Xia can sleep together. You won't have to worry then, right?"
Mother Zhou said, "If you're worried, I can stay too and sleep in the same bed as the children."
Jiang Xia said, "No need. What is there to worry about? Mom, you should go back to the Guest House and get a good night's sleep."
