In the depths of the sea, a solitary island stood like an immortal trace upon the ocean. Ancient trees towered over the island, vines sprawled everywhere, and amid birdsong and fragrant flowers lingered an ancient, mysterious aura.
At the center of the island was an enormous chiseled-out hole. Within it, seawater could vaguely be seen spreading through.

Yet just as the several Silver Sharks fought over the remains, a black staff shadow suddenly smashed down.
Boom! Like a thunderbolt exploding, seawater burst in every direction. The Silver Sharks were all smashed into an indistinct mess, leaving behind huge masses of flesh that floated motionlessly on the surface.
Once the sea calmed somewhat, a massive figure was reflected in the water.
A gigantic black ape tossed its enormous iron staff aside, then stretched out its two huge palms and tore apart the Silver Sharks. Before long, it dug out several round Monster Beast cores and tossed them directly into its mouth.
A pleased expression appeared on its face as well.
After swallowing the Monster Beast cores, it dragged all the Silver Shark corpses ashore and used one of them as bait once more.
It then returned to sit nearby, like a hunter waiting for a hare by a tree stump.
