Faltine Mouth
When Xenomorphs with different combat methods, such as physical fighting and Energy Attacks, joined forces in perfect coordination, the efficiency they displayed was nothing short of absurd.
With Duva acting as the central hub—able to link the minds of all Xenomorphs, monitor every Xenomorph's vision and condition, and issue commands in real time—their battles could only be described as exquisite art.
Even so, weaker Xenomorphs continued to die beneath the Energy Whips, bound and sliced apart by the force brewing within the lashes, reduced to countless chunks of flesh.
Yet in the instant before death, they still screamed desperately and deliberately tore at their own bodies with all their strength, ensuring that more blood could scatter across a wider area and corrode more Energy Whips.
Wherever the eye could see, whips snapped apart in rapid succession, creating patches of empty space. Looking more closely, one would be shocked to discover that these empty areas could actually connect together, forming an irregular "passage"! The entire process flowed as smoothly as water, paid for with fearlessness, silence, and sacrifice. It was as though they had rehearsed it countless times beforehand, efficient to a terrifying degree! "How is this possible?!"
Even Kaecilius was stunned. He was not afraid of the Xenomorphs' strength. Rather, he was shocked by the absolute obedience and absolute coldness they displayed—living flesh possessing the mechanical precision of robots.
"Nothing is impossible. You can become part of me too!"
Relying on his greater agility, Duva closed the distance between himself and Kaecilius.
As long as he did not let this guy use a large-scale spatial spell like the Mirror Dimension, there was still a chance! With his own strength, the Abomination Xenomorph, and several Deviant Xenomorphs, victory was not impossible.
In fact, with the power Duva currently possessed, he was absolutely qualified to become someone every faction and organization in the world had to take seriously.
But his opponent now was Kaecilius, who could almost be considered part of the tier just beneath Ancient One's level.
"I'll show you true terror—the power I received from the great Dormammu."
Kaecilius felt the surging dark magic within his body. Dormammu had clearly raised the upper limit of the magic he could borrow, at least temporarily.
While using Energy Whips to buy himself time, Kaecilius wielded Dormammu's Black Magic.
A spell like a black hole slowly gathered before him.
"Behold this spell—Faltine Mouth! The great Dormammu used this to devour countless Pocket Universes and life-bearing planets in macrocosmic worlds!"
"You won't get the chance to use it!"
Duva continuously broke through the restraints of the Energy Whips, leading his many extraordinary Xenomorphs forward at high speed, trying to kill Kaecilius before he could successfully cast the spell.
Countless golden-red threads formed and shattered. Xenomorphs continually died from the scorching and slicing of the Energy Whips. Even Duva himself shattered many of the whips with his own hands, charging before Kaecilius covered in wounds.
Just as the two were about to truly clash, Kaecilius sensed something. His expression abruptly changed, and he retreated at top speed while opening a portal, choosing to flee without the slightest hesitation.
Duva's expression shifted. In that flash of lightning, he displayed extraordinary reflexes, determined to attack Kaecilius even at the cost of further grievous injury! Roar! The Abomination Xenomorph let out a cry. Its entire body had been pierced through like a sieve by countless Energy Whips, and it had seemed motionless, almost dead. But at Duva's command, it suddenly sprang up in madness, its body rapidly swelling. Seizing the instant Kaecilius shifted his attention, it viciously rammed into Duva from behind.
Borrowing that force, Duva endured catastrophic damage to his body and shot straight toward Kaecilius.
Though he was still a little too late, Kaecilius's entire body had already entered the portal.
A visibly relieved smile appeared on his face as he began to turn around, his lips moving—despite everything, he still maintained his elegance, displaying the noble bearing of a Great Magician.
Duva knew what he was about to say.
"We will meet again."
"Meet my ass. Give it here!"
Ferocity overflowed from Duva's eyes as he immediately thrust both arms forward. It was a mad, suicidal act. The closing portal could split him in half at any moment, but Duva did it anyway.
Smack! With overwhelming speed and strength, Duva forced both arms through the barrier formed from magical particles. Vast amounts of flesh were instantly destroyed, and every moment, parts of his body turned into countless motes of dust and scattered away.
But even so, Duva did not retreat or hesitate. With arms that had nearly become bare white bones, he violently seized the shoulders of the turning Kaecilius. As the portal rapidly closed, he pinned with one hand and pulled with the other, tearing them off on the spot! The sight of mangled flesh, separated muscles, and tendons still hanging together was exceptionally brutal.
Kaecilius instantly lost his composure. His elegance vanished as he let out a scream! He cherished his body greatly, because it was his capital for pursuing truth and an important vessel for paying the price to Dormammu. He usually maintained it with meticulous care, even keeping every strand of his hair perfectly in place—he had never suffered physical damage of this magnitude before!!
The portal shut completely, leaving Duva's two arms on the other side.
"He should not have used Faltine Mouth. The spell takes too long to charge. Against an opponent like you, who excels at seizing opportunities and is willing to mutilate himself, he miscalculated."
Behind Duva, a Golden Portal opened. A plump figure hurried through, but he was still one step too late. He could only watch Kaecilius and Duva's final clash unfold, then helplessly remark.
Everything had happened too quickly. From Kaecilius opening the portal to retreating and escaping, not even a second had passed. Opening a portal, crossing through it, and then deciding what magic to use to interfere was simply asking too much of him.
"You must be a magician from Kamar-Taj. If it hadn't been for you, I don't think Kaecilius would have fled so quickly." In just one second, Duva's expression changed from savage to gentle, the speed of the transformation astonishing.
If not for the horrifying wounds healing all over his body and his empty arm sockets, Wong would have thought he was speaking with a gentleman.
Wong carefully chose his words, then looked around. This ancient building was filled with broken walls and rubble. There were human corpses, ashes left behind after Blade's silver weapons had slain people, and fragmented pieces of Xenomorph bodies everywhere.
It secretly alarmed him. The clash had been extremely brief, yet the battle had reached such a horrific degree.
