"Prince!" Jiang Ning respectfully saluted the burly man before him, who looked like a humanoid tyrannosaur.
"So you're Jiang Ning!" Xiang Yuan looked at Jiang Ning, his expression calm.
"That is me!" Jiang Ning replied.
Then he removed the mask from his face, revealing his true appearance.
"Not bad!" Xiang Yuan nodded, then sighed as he looked at Jiang Ning. "You really are young! The waves behind drive on those before!"
"Your Highness praises me too highly!" Jiang Ning said respectfully.
"Judging from your performance just now, you should have completed seven or eight Blood Exchanges, right?" Xiang Yuan asked again.
"Reporting to Your Highness, I've completed eight!" Jiang Ning replied.
"Eight?" Xiang Yuan nodded, then said, "Not bad! That achievement is astonishing!"
"Marquis, you praise me too highly!" Jiang Ning said.
"I never praise people!" Xiang Yuan shook his head and continued, "I merely state the facts!"
"You really are interesting, Prince!" Jiang Ning smiled.
"You brat, not bad!" As Xiang Yuan spoke, he patted Jiang Ning on the shoulder.
Jiang Ning immediately pretended to stagger. The earth beneath his feet trembled faintly, sending dust billowing into the air.
"You don't need to pretend! You effortlessly took the full-force strike of that Half-Step Grandmaster head-on. This bit of strength couldn't possibly shake you!" Xiang Yuan shot Jiang Ning a glance.
Hearing this, Jiang Ning smiled.
