Raymond stared into the other's eyes and delivered his ultimatum word by word.
Yet the female assassin did not seem to realize the severity of the situation, directly sneering in response: "Keep dreaming! I would never betray my master! Even if you kill me now, it won't change your destined fate to die. It won't be long before the master sends more assassins to finish you off."
"Good! You have successfully made me discard the last shred of pity in my heart."
Raymond activated the card in his hand without hesitation.

A cluster of grayish-black energy completely enveloped his right hand, resembling a blazing fire.
The funny thing was that this fire did not have even a shred of temperature, instead giving off a dark, chilling sensation.

Right now, however, he only wanted to make this Half-Elf female assassin, who had tried to kill him, immediately taste the flavor of pain and remorse, and by the way, figure out who the mastermind was.
The moment his hand, covered in grayish-black Negative Energy, touched the assassin's neck, the latter let out a blood-curdling scream on the spot.
