At Asgard's Royal Palace, Thor had just resolved the "minor" disturbance caused by his biological brother from a different father and mother—Loki—and was holding a feast to celebrate the victory.

After all, for Asgardians, the two most indispensable things in life were fine wine and feasts.

They would revel for days or even weeks on end over anything worth commemorating.

But at this moment, Odin, the Allfather, showed not the slightest trace of joy. He stood alone at the highest point of the Royal Palace, looking down upon the Nine Realms, especially Earth, known as "Midgard." His single eye revealed intense wariness and vigilance.

Because he could sense that this important planet, once within Asgard's sphere of influence, was radiating a powerful yet bizarre force.

The source of that power was half of the Dark Dimension that Dormammu had lost.

By now, every powerful being in the universe knew about this, and they were equally curious about Raymond, the outsider and Dimensional Demon God.

After all, there were quite a few who could defeat Dormammu outside the Dark Dimension.

But someone capable of seizing control of half the Dark Dimension from him and forcing him to hide like a homeless dog, too afraid to show his face, was certainly worthy of caution and scrutiny.

What Odin wanted to know even more was why The Ancient One, Earth's protector and the Sorcerer Supreme, had tolerated Raymond and his subordinates.

Had the two sides reached some secret agreement unknown to others?

Or had they simply formed an Alliance?

With his lifespan nearing its end, Odin had become more sensitive than ever to changes in the cosmic situation.
