There was also a ring of towns surrounding the Cat Fortress, somewhat like the Hokage office building and Konohagakure, except the office building here was several times larger, while the village itself covered far less ground.
Compared to Konoha, this place felt much more like arriving in a Different World. It reminded Sasuke of the Cat Kingdom in The Cat Returns, though the style was nowhere near as picturesque.
Everything was noticeably smaller in scale. Ninja Cats came in all shapes and sizes; most were rather small, though there were a few large ones scattered about. With cat ears on, Sasuke and Might Guy blended in thoroughly. With an official guide cat leading the way, they encountered neither commotion nor obstruction.
The food was still lighter than human cuisine, but compared to the cat food cans from Sasuke's previous life, it was far more normal. Cat-related patterns, symbols, and characters appeared endlessly throughout the decor, much like
