Chapter 1: A New World

It was a bright and sunny day. As usual, Polyushika walked towards her meticulously cared-for herb garden. A gentle breeze brushed against her skin, and birds sang cheerfully, making everything seem so peaceful and beautiful.

However, when she arrived at the herb garden, she was surprised to find a scene unlike any other – an infant in swaddling clothes lay quietly there.

Polyushika froze. She hesitated for a long time. After observing her surroundings and seeing no signs of anyone, she finally approached cautiously and gently picked up the baby.

Back home, Polyushika carefully checked the infant's basic condition. To her relief, the little one was very healthy, with a rosy, adorable little face. He seemed to be fast asleep and wouldn't wake up for now.

Polyushika wondered how such a small child could have appeared here. With no clues, she decided to ask Makarov to come over and discuss how to handle the situation.

Before long, Makarov hurried over. The two elders quietly gazed at the infant before them, neither speaking, and the room fell silent.

Finally, Makarov broke the silence. He said slowly, "In my opinion, you should raise this child for now. I can't find anyone suitable to look after him on my end. Besides, you found the child, so perhaps you two are destined to be together. Once he's a bit older and more sensible, we can consider bringing him to our Guild."

After hearing Makarov's words, Polyushika frowned slightly. She remained silent for a long time. Although she felt a bit troubled, she realized there was no better solution at the moment and reluctantly nodded in agreement. And so, the mysteriously appearing infant began his life by Polyushika's side.

Allen had always been just an ordinary working stiff. Besides working to make ends meet, the only things that brought him a little joy and relaxation were watching his favorite anime and collecting various exquisite figurines.

Today, after finishing his day's work as usual, Allen walked briskly towards the "Newbie Station" not far from his rented room, feeling particularly excited. It was storing a treasure he had been eagerly anticipating – the LordKnightmon X figurine he had been dreaming of! Originally, according to the normal delivery process, this package should have arrived tomorrow, but the impatient Allen couldn't suppress his longing and decided to pick it up early from the station.

When Allen finally received the package from the staff, his excitement was palpable. He didn't even care about the stares of those around him and tore open the outer packaging on the spot. Instantly, a dazzling LordKnightmon X figurine box caught his eye. At this moment, Allen was overjoyed and couldn't wait to assemble the figurine and display it. So, he hastily tidied up the discarded packaging and quickly headed towards his rented room.

Along the way, Allen's steps were quick, and the majestic image of LordKnightmon X constantly appeared in his mind, completely immersed in the joy of owning a new toy. Unconsciously, he arrived at a pedestrian crossing. The traffic light was red at that moment. However, the impatient Allen paid no attention to it, his mind solely focused on getting home as quickly as possible to assemble the figurine. The moment the green light turned on, Allen stepped forward without hesitation.

But then, the unexpected happened. Because his attention was entirely focused on the figurine, Allen didn't notice a car on the road beside him speeding through the red light. By the time he realized the danger, it was too late. With a dull thud, Allen felt a sharp pain throughout his body, and then his vision went black, and he lost consciousness.

It took Allen a great deal of effort to slowly open his heavy eyelids. He blinked, trying to adjust to the light, but everything he saw felt so unfamiliar and bewildering.

When Allen tried to get up as usual, he was shocked to feel something strange – his body had become incredibly small! Looking down, he disbelievingly found that he had shrunk to the size of an infant. Allen was stunned, his mind in chaos: I was just hit by a car, how could such a bizarre thing happen? Why did my body suddenly shrink?

As Allen was filled with confusion and uncertainty, the door to the room was gently pushed open, and a figure slowly walked in.

Allen looked up and saw an elderly woman quickly approaching the bedside. Upon recognizing her, Allen's eyes widened, and his heart was filled with even greater astonishment – this woman was Polyushika! A character who only existed in the anime Fairy Tail!

Combining this with the changes in his body, Allen finally understood – he hadn't simply suffered an accident that caused his body to become abnormal, but had somehow crossed over into the world of Fairy Tail!

Allen took a deep breath, trying to calm his flustered heart from being in a new world. He knew very well that since he was in this completely unfamiliar world, he had to adapt to it as quickly as possible.

At this moment, Polyushika was gazing intently at Allen. After several days of living together, the old woman had happily accepted the arrival of this little infant, and a legendary sense of intergenerational affection surged within her. Polyushika's eyes were filled with tenderness and love. She gently leaned down, approached Allen, and softly asked, "My little one, how are you feeling now?"

Allen opened his mouth slightly, wanting to respond to Polyushika's concern. However, all that came out of his mouth was a series of babbling, indistinct sounds. Yet, these simple and innocent babbling sounds seemed to possess a magical charm, instantly brightening Polyushika's mood.

Overjoyed, Polyushika extended her hands and gently, carefully held Allen. She looked at the little person in her arms, her gaze never leaving him, her face beaming with undeniable happiness.

In the past, Polyushika, who had never had children, could never understand why some adults would unconsciously laugh while holding a baby. But now, as she held Allen in her arms and began to play with the adorable little one, she finally understood why.

Perhaps it was fate. Polyushika said to the infant in her arms, "Shall I give you a name? How about Allen?"

Perhaps sensing Polyushika's words, the infant in her arms smiled and squinted his eyes at her, which made Polyushika even happier.
