After the meeting ended, Allen and Ultear stayed behind to help Gildarts activate his Second Magic Source.
The three of them went to Allen and Ultear's laboratory. Gildarts sat in a chair while Allen and Ultear stood on either side of him.
"Are you ready?" Allen asked.
Gildarts nodded and said with a smile, "Come on. Let me see the results of your research."
Having gained experience activating the Second Magic Source for Laxus and the others, Allen and Ultear had refined the process. The two of them released their magic simultaneously. The power of Arc of Time and Sealing Magic intertwined and slowly flowed into Gildarts's body. Gildarts felt a warm force circulating within him. Then, near his original Magic Source, it gradually condensed into a new Magic Source.
"Is this the Second Magic Source?" Gildarts asked in a low voice, a hint of amazement in his tone.
Ultear nodded and said softly, "Yes, this is the result of our research. You should be able to sense new magic emerging now."
Gildarts closed his eyes and carefully sensed the changes within his body. He could clearly feel his total magic power gradually increasing, while its flow remained
