"Damn it!"
Kana cursed angrily. She wanted to break out of this deadlock, but she didn't have many options. Yukino wasn't giving her the chance. At this point, all she could do was hope Yukino couldn't keep attacking like this because of her stamina. Otherwise, she would have no choice but to fight with everything she had.
Just as Kana had expected, Yukino's stamina really wasn't that abundant, so she gradually slowed down. Kana's nerves were too tightly wound, however, and she failed to notice. This was also part of Yukino's plan. She knew that maintaining this kind of attack required a tremendous amount of stamina and magic power. Since she was still growing, Yukino's stamina naturally couldn't be that great. She only needed to make Kana feel overwhelmed at the beginning. Once Kana revealed an opening, she would move in for the final blow.
Kana was also thinking about how to break out of the deadlock. She didn't want to simply wait for defeat. Even if she was going to lose in the end, she wanted to go down fighting!
When Yukino once again appeared behind Kana and attacked, Kana suddenly turned around and charged straight at her instead of defending.
Kana's response surprised Yukino, but she had anticipated a situation like this.
Facing Kana's charge, Yukino immediately retreated, putting as much distance between them as possible.
When Kana saw Yukino create distance with just two leaps, she simply stopped her charge.
She stopped moving, but the magic power in her hands rapidly gathered.
Yukino watched Kana's movements with some uncertainty. As far as she knew, Kana had no long-range attacks apart from Shockwave and Ura Hades. As for Shockwave and Ura Hades, she was confident she could dodge them, so she couldn't figure out what Kana was planning.
