Ch. 201Slaying the General

Zabuza and Itachi killed Shi, forcing the Land of Lightning's army to retreat while A chose to delay a major counterattack. On the Land of Earth battlefield, Kitsuchi's force encountered two Federation fighters who summoned enormous winged monsters.

  • Shi tried to escape Zabuza's mist, but Itachi trapped him in a Sharingan genjutsu and killed him.
  • The Land of Lightning's forces retreated, and A accepted Darui's plan to harass the Federation while waiting for intelligence from the Land of Earth.

Ch. 203Ōnoki

  • Ōnoki arrived at the Land of Rain, learned of Kitsuchi and Akatsuchi’s defeat, and ordered Han and Roshi to attack the Land of Rain.
  • Han and Roshi led their forces toward Pain, who prepared the defenders for battle as the two sides met.

Ch. 204Yamei Appears

Pain’s Six Paths overwhelmed Han and Roshi until Ōnoki intervened against them. Yamei then appeared before the Land of Earth forces, and when Ōnoki refused to withdraw, Yamei summoned three immense dragons to end the battle quickly.

  • Han and Roshi attacked Pain’s Six Paths, but the Paths absorbed chakra, recovered from damage, and defeated Roshi with Shinra Tensei.
  • Ōnoki joined Han and Roshi, blocked an attack, and used Dust Release against Pain, but the Preta Path absorbed it before Han destroyed that Path.

  • The reincarnated ninjas pursued Killer B and Yugito, while A, Dodai, and others rushed to defend them.
  • Obito entered the Kamui Dimension to capture Yugito but sensed Yamei’s lethal threat and fled; Yamei then considered testing Magic Hand on the reincarnated ninjas.

Ch. 208Capturing the Tailed Beasts

Ch. 210Fusion of Techniques

Yamei began a massive analysis to fuse his ninjutsu and elemental abilities, then ordered his allies to launch an operation against the forces refusing to withdraw from the war. The chapter left the operation underway as Yamei awaited its results and the outcome of his own twenty-four-hour derivation.

  • Yamei started a twenty-four-hour analysis to fuse elemental ninjutsu and most of his Kekkei Genkai, while retaining the Rinnegan and Byakugan.

  • Izumi reported the Land of Lightning's retreat, and Yamei concluded the war was over.
  • Yamei used his Dojutsu Power to transport A into a sunny, grassy space and seated him across from himself.

Ch. 213War's End

After Yamei ended the war and returned home, the Sacred Radiance Federation was officially established, and news of its victory sent the four great nations into turmoil. Gaara and Tsunade began considering how their villages should respond to the Federation.

  • Yamei subdued A in a genjutsu, confirmed that the Tsuchikage had retreated, and announced the war’s end before returning to the Land of Waves.
  • Yamei learned that Shisui had assigned the four Jinchuriki to labor reform and that Pakura had taken Kurotsuchi into her courtyard.
  • The Sacred Radiance Federation was formally established, and its ideals sparked celebration among its citizens and alarm among the people of the four great nations.
  • After hearing that the armies of Earth and Lightning had been defeated and were seeking peace, the Land of Wind’s daimyo asked Gaara to withdraw his troops, and Gaara agreed in exchange for compensation.

Ch. 215Foes by Fate

Yamei returned home with Tsunade and Yūhi Kurenai, reunited with Ino, Hinata, and Tenten, and promised to show them the Federation the next day. When Tsunade asked whether he would stop expanding, Yamei reaffirmed his plan to unify the ninja world and revealed an unfamiliar threat from beyond it.

  • Ino came to Yamei’s room and asked him not to send her away, worried that the Land of Waves women had reached him before she had.
  • Yamei realized Ino and possibly Hinata and Tenten felt neglected, and he responded tenderly to Ino.
  • The next morning, Hinata and Tenten served breakfast while Tsunade teased Yamei about the night; Yamei tricked Tsunade when she threatened him with a Painful Heaven Foot.
  • After Tsunade left for the Hokage Building with Shizune, Yamei checked on Ino and entered the Mount Sumeru Divine Realm.
  • Yamei examined a newly derived jutsu that controlled nine elemental powers and could form ninjutsu by thought, then named it Return of Ten Thousand Laws.
  • Yamei considered using the jutsu in his plans to revive Kaguya Otsutsuki and left the divine realm, noting that he still needed to complete another jutsu.

Ch. 217Hanabi

Yamei welcomed Hanabi and brought her along with Hinata and the others to his residence in the Land of Waves, where the women from Konoha and the Land of Waves met and quickly became acquainted. Near noon, Yamei prepared to attend the Federation Assembly Hall with Pakura and the other councilors.

  • Hanabi recognized Yamei and explained that Hiashi had sent her to bring Hinata home, so Yamei sent clones to notify the Hyuga and Yamanaka Clans.

Ch. 218Taking Office

Yamei oversaw the federation’s new laws and inauguration, then handled diplomatic requests and decided how captured Jinchuriki would live under the new government. After agreeing to send Kurenai and the others home, he prepared to transport them away.

  • Yamei opened a week-long meeting to establish the federation’s laws, then attended the inauguration ceremonies as its president.
  • Izumi told Yamei that Orochimaru’s research departments had begun work, while the search for White Zetsu and Obito had found nothing.
  • Yamei approved visit requests from Sunagakure and Konohagakure and dismissed the requests from Kumogakure and Iwagakure as attempts to reclaim Jinchuriki and other captives.
  • Yamei told Yugito she could attend reeducation school or die when he extracted the Two-Tails, and she chose to live; he also told Kurotsuchi to study.
  • Kurenai asked Yamei to send her, Ino, Hinata, and Hanabi home, and Yamei agreed before activating a flash of white light beneath them.

Ch. 219Hanabi's Foolish Words

Ch. 220Evil God Cult

Yamei questioned Hidan about the Evil God Cult and learned that Hidan’s immortality came from its experiments. He traveled to the Land of Hot Water to investigate the cult, where he unexpectedly found Temari and invited her to bathe with him.

  • Hidan finished healing from his wounds and gave Yamei a book about the Evil God Cult after Yamei threatened him.
  • Yamei read that Hidan had joined the cult in Hot Water Village, become its only successful experimental subject, and led it into a disastrous war before joining the Akatsuki Organization.
  • Yamei traveled to the Land of Hot Water to search for the Evil God Altar and sensed Temari in the main city.
  • Yamei found Temari at a hot spring establishment and teased her about coming there instead of returning to the Land of Wind.
