Keledu finally nodded. He accepted Victor's words and knew Victor's guess was quite reasonable.
After thinking for a moment, he said, "But establishing such an intelligence network will be far from easy. The Northlands Wasteland is simply too vast, and the Skyline Grassland is too far away. It will be difficult for you to ensure the smooth flow of information.
As far as I know, the miraculous telegraphs you possess would have great difficulty communicating across such distances.
After all, those telegraph lines are extremely expensive to build, and they also require specialized technicians."
"You're right. Even if I sent people out now to gather and compile this intelligence, at most they could use carrier pigeons or deliver messages on horseback. Using wired telegraphs at this stage would be far too costly.
But if we use telegraphs without wires, it should not be so difficult."
Victor had always been quite tolerant of Keledu and had shown him the machines in the territory, whether telegraphs or railways. Thus, Keledu knew quite a bit about telegraphs.
But the wire-free telegraph Victor spoke of truly exceeded Keledu's imagination.
Still, given this marquis's character, he certainly would not make such claims without basis. He most likely had considerable confidence in producing such wire-free telegraphs, and that greatly interested Keledu.
Victor glanced at the curious Keledu and smiled. "Progress has been fairly rapid. We expect to see the first prototype by the middle of next year, and we will conduct experimental testing then.
But it will likely take even longer before it can officially be put into use. That is not a problem, though. We can first establish a rudimentary intelligence network at this stage, then adjust it once this machine enters formal production.
Once this wireless telegraph is put into use, people will be
