With the Allied Army taking the field once again, the war instead grew even more intense. In particular, when the East Sea Nobility who had surrendered saw that the Allied Army had finally begun responding to them, one after another, they erupted with the will to continue fighting and resolutely resisted the Noble Army of the Pro-War Faction.
The Noble Army of the Pro-War Faction also seemed to have caught sight of its own doom. At this point, they intensified their offensive and became even more indifferent to casualties, hunting down people everywhere to use as cannon fodder for sieges, as though they had gone mad in the face of the end.
The flames of war spread across all the remaining lands of the East Sea Alliance. The Allied Army had to find a way to quell them.
After confirming that the East Sea Alliance could no longer organize a large-scale army, Earl Stanley ordered all the armies to disperse by legion and fight across the lands of the East Sea Alliance.
The purpose of the campaign was to destroy every East Sea Alliance army they encountered. So long as they had not laid down their weapons and surrendered, they were to be wiped out, regardless of which side they belonged to.
After all, the Allied Army had no idea how many of the nobles who had surrendered were truly sincere.
Unless they laid down their weapons, they too would become targets of attack.
No one had expected the Allied Army to fight for a full three months afterward before finally quelling the flames of war across the remaining territory of the East Sea Alliance.
Only after the war did the Allied Army's commanders discover that, in suppressing the East Sea Alliance's Noble Armies caught up in the chaotic fighting,
